You should at least do beer and wine.

If you happen to find any save the dates/invites that you like since you have your information to create those and there's a sale, order them! We did that! We had our save the dates like 10 months before our wedding and our invites about a month after that! You can never pass up a sale!

I personally would decline a v day wedding invite. My only advice is hopefully you never divorce, could put a bit of a damper on Valentine's Day in any new relationship.

If I was going to have a Valentines themed wedding, I'd do something close to this... http://noveltybride.com/blog/pretty-in-pink/ I love everything about it!

I would attend a Valentine's wedding, it would be nice. I don't think everyone would hate it and as long as they get a heads up on it being a weekday, you should be fine. I attended a Thursday wedding and I thought it was so lovely. I agree with Celia, vendors are going to work anyway and if people don't want to attend, they won't. Have fun planning!!!!

I don't think you are moving too fast. I was about the same as far as progress a year out and now I'm actually a little behind.

Do you have a wedding planning book or online checklist yet? You could just go through each step one by one. If you're a bit ahead of the game in the planning department, just move on to the next month's checklist Smiley smile No problem with being ahead of schedule.

Yes I may do just that Iyla and I have some things bookmarked on Pinterest but it's so much on Pinterest that it can get a little overwhelming

TheWrightGirl... if the wedding wasn't mine I would attend a Valentine's Day wedding too.. it's not taking away from the couples, bring a special someone, eat free food, drinks and celebrate love...it's a party not a funeral

To me, the Wednesday is more problematic than the Valentine's Day. Unless your wedding is down the street from my office, I can't take off that much time to go to it.

I understand the Wednesday issue way more than the Valentine's Day issue...that's why I'm doing it at night to try to accommodate more people

It's better to wait on the registry in case things are discontinued or change price dramatically. I just noticed a suit case I put on my registry for $125 just jumped to $500!

You could start working on your wedding website as a side project.
