How do they remove the dip when you go to get them redone? I had been using gel for ages, but with the soaking and filing to remove it every 3-4 weeks, my nails were destroyed. I've gone back to plain manicures for the past couple of months and they're finally growing properly and getting stronger. I've got a trip in the fall that I was going to get gel for, and then probably the holidays. Is dip really easier on your nails?

View Quoted Comment Dip is removed by soaking as well, but they generally come off easier and they do not have to file as much (if at all). The dip also has minerals in it and is better for your nails in general, as it lets more oxygen actually reach your nail beds. this helps make them stronger even with the tough soaking process!

Hi there! If you're asking about my choice - I'm sticking only to gel for like last 7 or 8 years already. Suppose it's the greatest coat for your nails ever I prefer OPI branded gels, you can check them here - https://www.enails.eu/en/gel-nail-polish/opi-gelcolor.html - yet I have one trick for it. If I'm full of those colors and want to try some design, I put gelish over the top of gel, so this way you receive powerful result you can wear chip-free up-to 4 weeks ( !!) Can you imagine designed nails wearing all month long?

Gel or DIP gel powder! I always do gel for special occasions. However, The dip will last longer and look better and more real, in my opinion, but dip will be more expensive than a gel full set
