    Underrated. We aren't having one at our wedding but we did at our engagement party. I don't like a ton of frosting on my cake so I love naked cakes. However, I love regular cakes as well.

    My FH loves the way they look but it wasn't the right aesthetic for our wedding. It is also really though to find a bakery that will do it. They can hide a lot of mistakes with buttercream.

    Totally overrated.

    I like frosting too much to have it scraped off and left with nothing but a dry cake!!

    Underrated. We both hate frosting and I'm not a huge sweets person. Also fondant is absolutely disgusting lol. We're doing semi naked

    Underrated. It lets you really focus on the flavors of the cake and not only the frosting. plus, they look adorable.

    Overrated. as a cake decorator naked cakes come off super plain, even with fruit or flowers

    Underrated!!! We are having a semi-naked cake and I loved the samples that were prepared for us. The cake was super moist and the filling was enough definitely doesnt need any extra frosting!

    I love the look of naked cakes. I do not enjoy frosting. However, I love the look of regular cakes too.
