Debbie, on April 13, 2022 at 8:52 PM Posted in Married Life 0 5
Hi!! We tied the knot! Amazing. Now three months later I’m finally working on name change and saw newlynamed offers a box mailed to ypy with easily instructions and all pro Ted out for name change. For $89. I had anyone used this service and any feedback? Thank you!

I haven’t heard of anything like this. But I get all of my help off of Pinterest. It has list of things that you need to change with your new last name.

This is similar to HitchSwitch which does not have good reviews online and basically you pay them to grab forms that you fill out, all of which are free and easy to locate on your own. Save your money.

A few of my friends have used a newly named kit and loved it. The forms are easy to find online but it includes tips on when to submit as well as a much easier to understand instructions.

I would save your money. All of the forms are free online - you submit social security administration first, when you get your new card then go to DMV, (and passport, if you have one) then banks, loans, etc.

I dont understand why anyone would pay for that kit. Everyone acts like the name change is some big dramatic stressful thing but it's really not. I got legally married in December. Easily got the form to change my SSN. The bank doesn't care if I change my name with them or not (and that's who has my mortgage). Everything is tied to your SSN so the name doesn't matter as much.
