What venue are you guys having your wedding at and was it your first choice? We're doing ours at Graue Mill and Museum in Oak brook and it was our third place we looked at and fell in love. Alot of history here too. It's connected to the underground railroad and they do tours.

UC Berkeley Faculty Club! I'm like Lauren: grew up in the area, met my FH while he was attending for his PhD. It's the perfect location close to BART and downtown Berkeley. Beautiful arts and crafts architecture like many of the buildings there.
I'm also unintentionally following a tradition where my late parents married on the Cornell campus...Mom lived in Ithaca and Dad attended undergrad/business school there. Good way to honor them!

We had ours at The Piper Palm House in St Louis, MO. It was built in 1878 at the edge of a beautiful, historic public park and is the oldest standing conservatory west of the Mississippi River.
