I never do make up so I won't on my wedding day either!

What about foundation for a smooth coverage in photos?

The great thing about your wedding is that it’s YOUR wedding. You can do what you want with your makeup and still be the most beautiful person in the room. Especially to your partner . Do what is comfortable for you and rock whatever look you choose!

I feel like a lot of brides go the more natural look. I plan on going more dramatic but I'm sure it will look great!

I’m wearing makeup, but I want to go super light on it because that’s what makes me feel comfortable and pretty, I haaaate heavy makeup on myself. The idea that you need lots of makeup to look good in professional photos is a sexist lie.

I definitely am going for a more dramatic makeup look, mostly because my every day makeup is very limited, I could go for weeks without wearing makeup. SO I def want to stand out on my wedding day. But go for it, Jeanette! Do what makes you feel comfortable and beautiful

I’m happy to read this!! I want to go natural too, I even had a make up trial and I didn’t feel like myself with a full face! I’m going to do minimal makeup (mascara, some shimmer on my eyelids, a little gloss) and call it good. I also hate the way foundation feels.

Men never need make up in photos... Because the photographer can touch them up!
A professional can do blemish touch up and what not, I've seen them even take out tattoos! Make up is only if you want it.

It can just really help in professional photos. And will still give you the natural look you want. Some sheer foundation with mascara will look lovely!

I'm not into makeup so I don't have any tips on foundation (I used The Body Shop until they stopped making the moisturizing one, and I switched to MAC but now they stopped making a moisturizing kind. Sigh...).
