So, I've got naturally curly hair with pretty tight 3b/c curls with a few 4a curls thrown into the mix for good measure. Think pencil to marker-sized corkscrews and ringlets. It's about shoulder length now, depending on how much I encourage it to stretch or shrink with styling. My hair is very fine and soft, not coarse at all. It's prone to fluffiness, but I've got a whole beauty shop worth of product under my bathroom sink and on my vanity to help with that. Who can relate???
I've been 100% CGM (curly girl method) for years and don't really want to switch that up for my wedding. I also definitely do not want to straighten my hair. My curls are a huge part of what makes me, me. Also, if we get rain of any kind on our wedding day, any straightened hair will spring back into curls but with extra frizz.
I'm just not finding styles in my curl tightness on Google or Pinterest. All those lovely ladies have looser, shinier and less unruly curls.
So, natural curlies, show me your wedding styles! I've got a hair cut and style consultation this weekend and need to get some ideas. And need to be talked off the ledge of getting an inch or two whacked off.
