No ma’am! I feel like programs are a waste and people don’t hold onto them after the wedding. They may look at it during the ceremony and then toss it

Nope it just makes trash you have to pay people to clean up.

I want to to mabey just a couple of *tasteful* sighs, spelling out the agenda for the day. And will include it on our website as well but we won't do individual favor style programs. All circling back to the fact that I'm and anxious wreck and have to have physical affirmation of what is happening at all times

Not necessary, but definitely nice! I'm having them because they fit nicely into the budget. We're doing bookmark size programs with the order of events on one side and pictures of us on the other.

I printed my own at home. Yeah I bought some more ink for my printer but I'm getting married in this historic theater and I made mine look like playbills. They're super cute! I love getting a program at a wedding.

Hmm good question! I know for ya it’s certainly necessary. Our wedding is a fusion between Indian and Hispanic culture. We’re trying to embed both cultures ceremonies and rituals during the wedding. So have a program would be super helpful so everyone attending knows what’s happening. We’re also writing little explanations/significance blurb on why these rituals and traditions are taking.

I love the idea of having a program. That way the guests know the names of everyone, and it just makes it special. I think it really sets you apart when you have a program. Also, I plan on using my nephews who will be 9 and 10 as ushers, and they will hand out programs to the guests. Money is also not an issue for us, and we are very fortunate for that.

FMIL wants to do them since we are getting married in July (Texas Heat) I understand her point but a lot of work for us to make for people to trash plus the money on it

Know your crowd. We know our family and friends would like to know who’s who, so we’ve decided to have them. Plus, it’s a good way to remind our guests of our unplugged ceremony. But we’re getting a downloaded template off Etsy and either printing through Vistaprint or Staples, so it won’t cost too much. Do what works best for you and your guests!

I am most definitely using them! But I'm going to be putting a "Meet the Bridal Party" section on it with some fun facts about them, a short love story about my FH and I and a Thank You for coming on the back.

I don’t think they’re necessary. We’ll only end up picking them up off the pews after the ceremony.

Not doing programs! I feel that you know what you're here for, and you might miss something looking down at a program. My answer is "We're going green"
