Necessary or Not: Grand Exit?

Not necessary!

Not because I don’t want all the attention on me

I could see doing a large group photo of some sort, but not a grand exit. I'll be there until the guests all leave, so that wouldn't be ideal anyway, and I have no interest in trying to fake a picture at the cost of my guests comfort. I'll have to think further on how I can get a photo with everyone.

Well, how many people are you inviting to your wedding, Alexandra? It might be a bit difficult to have a lot of people in for one picture.

Not necessary, in fact kind of weird. I've never been to a wedding that has done it and I would be very weirded out by stopping all of the party to watch the bride and groom exit.

At this point Id rather sneak out lol. A good hostess stays until the end and never sneaks away from guests. I will figure it out.

We won't do a grand exit as we will probably end up helping to clean up after the reception but I hope to do a grand entrance featuring a dupsteo version of the traditional wedding march

Not necessary. The couple of weddings I’ve been to that did this, it was almost kind of annoying to have to wait to round everyone up and actually making it work.

We are doing a photo but staying

Not necessary. We will be doing the opposite since there is only one elevator in or out of our reception hall (unless you want to use the creepy fire stairs!) so we will be saying good bye to everyone there after the last song has played (around 11 because we have to be cleaned up and out by 12). Then when it is just us and the people who offered to help us clean/set up and the catering staff we will have a private last dance on the dance floor side of the hall (it is L shaped) while they break down the dinner side.

We are doing a sparkler send off and going for a quick ride on our harley! But ya were coming back so it is just for pictures

I don't think it's necessary. We're not doing it. It's only our immediate family anyway lol
