Not necessary. I’ve been to weddings with them and don’t think they’re super memorable. I went to a wedding that just had Polaroid cameras out for guests to use and that was just as fun!

Not necessary, but I enjoyed it at some weddings I've been to and so we are having one! It will also serve as our favor.

We are. I have 3 different card options all with different picture ideas on them. That way, we dont get the same pictures over and over again.

I’ve been to quite a few weddings and none of them had a photo booth. I know I will be skipping.

I agree with everyone. It’s not necessary but is so much fun! I originally wanted one also because there’s a magic mirror option rather than a tradition photo booth. I was like OMG that mirror one would go so great with my Disney themed wedding but once I got the price I was like nevermind I’m good!!

Not necessarily. However it gives your guest something extra to do and some fun photos to take home. I’m having one because it came with my DJ and the price was good. You can always look on Groupon closer to your wedding. I see them on there all the time.

Not necessary, but fun honestly at my wedding I was going to purchase cute hats and fun things a photobooth would have and let people just take selfies with their phones.

Not necessary, but a fun touch. If you cant do a professional one, they a DIY table set up with props and a fun DIY backdrop would let guests use their phones or other cameras to still have the fun. At our wedding, we have a DIY photobooth planned using inexpensive Instax Cameras. The pictures will be used in our guestbook so guests can strike a funny pose to go with their heartfelt messages.

It's fun to have but not necessary! I plan to have around 100 guest and will not be having a photo booth.

I've never been to a wedding with a photo-booth and won't be having one so it's not necessary for me! They look like they produce some cute pics though. Smiley smile

Not necessary. We were trying to cut cost and decided not to do this. Seemed counter intuitive to pay a DJ to fill the dance floor then have a photo booth to that would take people off it.

I've been having the same thought. But then i remembered weddings i went to that didnt have a photobooth, and i realized that i didnt even notice there wasnt one! To cut costs for my wedding I'm just going to make a cute backdrop and get some props from the dollar store and everyone can just take pictures on their phones.

Totally not necessary, but in seeing the photos/video from the one at my sister's wedding, it was so fun to view and laugh at with friends and fam after the event. And totally hysterical to see how some of the more reserved guests totally come out of their shell when in a photo booth!
