Necessary or Not: Photo Booth?

I fee that the photo booth adds to the receptions and the downtime that takes place.

No, I'm not having it at my wedding.

Not necessary at all. They're fun but won't make or break a wedding. I wanted one but couldn't work it into the budget, which is fine. We're putting that money towards the honeymoon

Not necessary. I’d rather my money go to catering or entertainment for the wedding. Especially since everyone has cells phones, and most people hire photographers.

Not necessary but so much fun. When I went to a Bridal show one of the photo booth vendors said instead of doing favors at the tables you just get a photo booth and then your guests are walking a way with a memory. Sometimes the favors get left behind and you're stuck with them. So wish a photo booth was in our budget. That is definitely a great idea.

Not necessary and not worth the money. The weddings Ive been to that had one the bride was begging people to use it because no one was. They all said that if they had known before how hard it would be to get people in it they wouldnt have bothered. One even felt like she missed most of her own reception because people were only willing to go in to get a picture with her so she basically stayed in the photobooth the majority of the evening after dinner and the choreographed dances.

No, i think its fun but its not a must have for me! I really like the idea of the instapik cameras and letting guests take all the photos the want for our book

Definitely not necessary although it's kind of a fun idea. Can also be pretty expensive so it's not something I would cry over not having.

None of the extras are necessary. About 15 years ago there weren’t photo booths and such at weddings.

Honestly, I've never used one at a wedding.
But I've only been to one wedding with my significant other that had one. And it wasnt photostrips.
Photostrips are important to me.
We got a photobooth for ours.
Of course, it has photostrips.

Not at all necessary. They could be fun but I think there is a lot of things that can be done to make the wedding more fun! It is nice to have something like that as a little favor.
