It depends on the couple. I could really go without it, but my husband liked the idea so we are having it.

Yes, who would have thought a baker would be the cake police! 😂 Thanks, Kelly!💖

Not for everyone. I don't think you have to have a 10 tier cake. We plan to have a smaller tiered cake to cut, and then probably individual apple pies

I believe it is important because on your one year anniversary you have to get the top layer out of the freezer and eat it! lol

Definatly necessary but without the face smash. I will be so angry if I get cake and icing all over my dress.

Totally necessary! I think a good idea is a smaller cake and then incorporating other baked goods for those who don’t like cake

I almost didn’t do a cake just because I was having a hard time finding a bakery in Paris to make it in advance. But I ended up finding one that speaks English and has great reviews so we will have cake and I’m excited about it!

Necessary! I’d be a little disappointed to go to a wedding without cake.

That's awesome! Are you going to serve other dessert options?

    Necessary for us.

We will be having a small, personal cake for us to cut and fed each other (no cake face smashing, as I will have spent way too much money on my makeup to be messed up midway through the wedding).

The rest of the cake will be made of cupcakes for the guests, to waste a minimal amount of food and money. Also, considering other desserts, such as cookies, ice cream (I'm obsessed and am even considering an ice cream cake for our personal one), chocolates, etc.

For us it was a necessity. In fact, it was one of the few things that my husband insisted on and wanted to help pick out. He loves him some cake!

Not necessary. There are so many cute things you can do instead. That said, I really want one.

Necessary. I don't think you need cake only, but a dessert of some sort. I'm a sweets girl, and I need my dessert! lol

Yes but we are doing cupcakes instead. Also comes with our venue and paid for it in the price whether we want one or not.

I think it’s definitely needed, but I’m not going to go to a bakery and tell them the cake is for my wedding. I’m going to tell them it’s for a birthday or something so that I get a cheaper price! Sorry, but I’m not paying for something I’m only going to eat once!
