Need advice on what type of material to use to decorate my wedding arch

That's definitely not Tulle! Sorry it looks more like satin. But I think the best idea ive seen thus far was clearance drapes you can find in chiffon, satin, ext. I think the idea is gorgeous good luck executing the idea!

I'd advise you to use chiffon if you want a sheer, gauzy fabric. That's what we use and it drapes wonderfully. Also, Voile is a popular one as well. Good luck!

It's not tulle. Try finding some organza fabric. That usually drapes pretty well.

Thank you so much everyone for your insight and ideas. I have no knowledge of fabrics other then what types are used to make the clothes I wear. Anyone have any idea where I could purchase a large amount of the Chiffon that wouldn't cost me a fortune ? Thanks again for your help !

I also have an arch that I'm decorating and was stressing a bit of fabrics. I went to JoAnn Fabric and for the amount I needed the suggested that I go to a bigger fabric store. The place I found was called A to Z Fabrics here in S. Florida. You'll want some place like that.

Monica (or anyone else), I don't know what kind of fabric you're looking for, but if it's a chiffon, Voile, or some sort of sheer I would definitely look into curtains. I was at Target the other day and they had their Voile panels on sale for less than $5 each and 3 would do the trick! Just a couple seams and you're good to go!

ETA: I should probably say that 3 panels would work for ME, but even if you needed 5 it would be more cost effective
