Need: cheap catering Portland or area

Elephants is usually pretty reasonable, but I think their buffet dinner was $60-80pp. Our friends used elephants for lunch and I think it was $30pp. Family style and plated are definitely more expensive. I know there are other caterers that are probably cheaper, have you looked at BBQ, Mexican, or Italian? With all the food trucks we have, I’m sure you could find something in your price point. Is there any way you could serve lunch instead of dinner?

We used Po'Shines. For 200 people for brisket, blackened catfish, curry, rice & beans, hushpuppies, mac n cheese, hushpuppies, tea, serving staff, delivery, and bartender, it was about $4800 give or take. They were AWESOME and everyone LOVED the food. Literally no food left behind. Plus, any food that isn't eaten or taken home goes with them and they serve to the homeless at a nearby church. I HIGHLY recommend them! They were fantastic to work with.
