Need DIY help making personalized tumblers for my bridesmaids.

Christal, on August 7, 2012 at 6:55 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 9

I would like to make personalized acrylic cups for each of my bridesmaids but so far I haven't found a website in my price range or that I liked. I did find a deal on Amazon of 12 cups for $30.00 but I'm not sure how I can customize them myself.

Could you maybe go to Target or Walmart and get plain tumblers? I think they'd be cheaper and they are probably on sale right now since it seems all of the summer stuff is starting to be discounted. Then go to Hobby Lobby- you can get individual initial stickers and put them on anything. Hope this helps!

I have seen people who have made them on Etsy but I am not sure how to do it myself.

here are some directions i found via the googles. I am not sure how they would hold up to like dish-washing or multiple hand washings etc.

This is for the vinyl sticker to put on said tumbler, might help reduce costs?

I bought initials and designs from an Etsy shop and purchased the glasses from the dollar store. You could do the same but with tumblers.

Here is the front and back of one of the GMs beer mug.

If you use her tell her Bearsmomma sent you.

Thank you ladies for all the great ideas! I think I have figured out a few different options for my girls now Smiley smile

I loved the post SofieMuffin posted about making a cup under $5 using nail polish, I'm going to give it a shot tonight.

Christal, I made these wine glasses really really cheap. I bought the glasses at the Dollar Tree, hope they have one where you live. And I bought the paint at Walmart or craft store, for Glass painting it's like $1.50 a bottle you only need your wedding colors. Print off what ever you want the glass to have on it, tape it inside and paint. Let me know if you need any further explanations I would be more than happy to help. See Pic.
