Need help choosing a nj venue!!

Hi everyone!

So I’ve been engaged since 12/2017. My fiancé proposed after I battled breast cancer and we celebrated with a trip. I had my heart set on a rustic beach wedding but it seems the prices are just way too high for the quality you receive.
If anyone could give me prices they’ve gotten that fit in my budget I would greatly appreciate it.I’m a teacher so I would’ve liked to pick summer but I’m open to all months now. Anything that’s under $200 including plus plus. ($175 including everything would be ideal) open to Friday, Saturday or Sunday only and only evenings
I’ve looked at naninas, Park savoy, Park chateau, valley regency, bonnet island estate(LOVED). When I went to the above I was only looking at summer dates. So if anyone has other 2020 prices I’d really appreciate it.

First of I’m sorry to hear you had breast cancer but hopefully you’ve beat it. Congratulations on your engagement. Can you clarify what you mean when you say $175- $200. What does that need to include?

Are you talking $175-200 per person? My husband is from New Jersey and I think The Farmhouse in Hampton, NJ is absolutely beautiful. I am not sure how much it would be to get married though.

    Thanks for the quick replies!

175-200 per person at the venue, including gratuity and tax
I’ve also looked at the Ryland inn and stone house at Stirling ridge - both beautiful.. Ryland inn is gorgeous

Congratulations on beating cancer! That's phenomenal! Just fyi, I've been to a wedding at Park Chateau, and while gorgeous, the acoustics in the ballroom are terrible. All the sound gets trapped in that weird dome in the ceiling, so music and speeches were really hard to hear, and like no one danced because you couldn't hear the music that well. My in-laws had the same experience when they went to a different wedding there.

We got married at the Forsgate Country Club, which we loved (the ballroom is a little outdated though). We recently went to a wedding at the Hamilton Manor which was gorgeous. I would check those out.

Farmstead Golf and Country Club is very rustic and affordable. Also try: SkyView Golf Club, Lake Mohawk Country Club, Rock Island Lake Club.

Rock Island Lake Club is about $150-$175 per person (depending on the day of the week you choose) and its on a lake with a rustic vibe, so almost close to what you're looking for. Smiley smile
