Need help deciding what bra to wear with dress

Richaelyn, on June 6, 2021 at 8:29 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 12
Hey y’all. Does anyone know of a good strapless/backless bra that could push up my boobs. Here’s some pictures of how the top of my dress looks. The back of my dress is see through so that’s why I need the bra to be backless too. Also the front has a mesh piece so, the bra can’t connect in the middle either. I’m thinking maybe some push up silicone cups would work best. Does anyone know of some good pushup silicone cups that stick to the body well? Need help deciding what bra to wear with dress 1

Can they sew in cups? They could position them in a way to give the girls a boost.

I think the inside already has cups. Maybe they could add more?

They should be able to add more. If they were actual cups, you would be more “perky” lol. I lost weight after my cups were sewn in, and of course much of it came off my chest, and they were able to add some push-up cups to the ones already there. I was set in place all day! I would ask your seamstress, especially with the style of your dress.

Definitely agree with PPs and have cups sewn in.

Okay I’ll see if my seamstress can do that at my fitting next week. Thanks!

The front of my dress is similar to yours and my gown is off the shoulders. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that sewn in cups will work but if they don’t provide the lift I want: I’m going with tape! I’ve taped before & it ain’t sexy but it works really well!

Lol okay, that will be my back up plan. Do you actually tape the “girls” up?

Yes. You use several strips of tape and eventually it forms a cup. The only thing I’d worry about is you’d have to make sure stray pieces peeking out! I’d certainly practice a few times 1st!

You either want more cups for support or tape. The have some shape wear/deep that has a deep v for that style too.

What did you end up using? And did it work well for you? I've got a similar front, and have never used boob tape before!

I got some bra cups added into my dress and I used the “fearless” clothing tape to hold my dress up on the sides and on the top.
