We live in ohio ther was a community garden center I fell in love with. It was not big enough. You may want to look into something like that.

I live in So Cal too! I know someone who recently got married at Il Fornaio which is this beautiful Italian rustic restaurant in Coronado with floor to ceiling window views of downtown San Diego across the bay. He said he had about 25 guests and it was just under $3k.

I didn’t personally look into the pricing for my wedding as my FH is a country boy and a city venue wouldn’t fit our relationship but I would suggest at least looking at the restaurant online. There may be space to have both the ceremony and reception there if your group was small enough but there is also a public park about a block away where a lot of people hold their ceremonies.

I don't remember the exact pricing, but there is a historic chapel with a lovely attached patio and banquet room at a place called The Chapel of Orange (just a couple blocks off the circle in Old Towne Orange), that has an "elopement package." I forget the guest limit, but you should be able to find it by Googling the venue. I just checked, look at the "Short & Sweet" package for up to 50 guests for $4000. It is very inclusive and provides a more traditional wedding feel for a small wedding.
