Hey y’all,


My wedding dress doesn’t have sleeves, and I am very self conscious about my arms so I want to cover them. I didn’t have sleeves altered on because it would have cost too much and I didn’t have any extra time for alterations (two week minimum and wedding is in three weeks). I’m planning on wearing a jean jacket during the reception but I want something a little nicer for the ceremony. I’ve looked at boleros and such and didn’t like them. I thought about a body suit with sleeves but can’t find one with the right neckline.. any suggestions?

    Search "wedding dress topper" on Etsy, or even on Google, and you'll find tons of options.

    I recommend looking into a nice blazer or faux fur on etsy or amazon.

    Capes are super dreamy looking and can cover your arms! If it will be cold enough, a faux fur wrap is also a good suggestion!

    Buying a dress with sleeves would have been the best option. I like Melle's idea of looking for capes. They are very on trend right now and typically are not hard to match to the dress.

    Ever think about epaulets? I am a bit insecure about my armpits folds, because in some pictures they look like mrs v 😓
