Need lace sleeve advice from seamstress

My wedding dress fits perfectly everywhere except the arms are too small! Can lace illusion sleeves be undone and more lace added without having to cut it off and add new sleeves? I just can’t afford an extra $500 to $1000 for alterations. I have saggy arms from weight loss so I need sleeves. TIA.

Did you purchase the gown yourself or from a bridal shop?

Yes I believe an experienced seamstress would be able to add more fabric. I was amazed at what my seamstress did so I hope u can find one that can help you. The price will be totally up to your location and if the seamstress is willing to charge for just the sleeves or a “base wedding dress charge”—- good luck!!!

The designer may be able to supply the same material to match the sleeves.
