Need opinions? Should i add straps or go without?

Mel95, on August 22, 2022 at 9:20 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 14
Like story short my dress doesn’t fit in the bust very well and alterations could only do so much. I may want to wear straps for extra support. What do you think from a purely cosmetic opinion - straps or no straps? Which looks better? Need opinions? Should i add straps or go without? 1

I think it loves lovely with or without, though if you feel more supportive in the bust with the straps, I would add them otherwise you will be tugging your dress up all day.

I will add the straps for the support but here's 2 options go without the straps for the ceremony and then put them on with all of the movements of dancing hugs etc. So that you font have to keep pulling it up the whole time.

You look beautiful in the dress with and without the straps. If you think you will be more comfortable with the straps definitely add them. Gorgeous choice!

I say add the straps, they go very well with the dress! And you'll be much more comfortable and relaxed with them there for support.

I would do straps if you feel it gives you extra support

Looks good either way. I say add straps. For support and comfort but also cause they cute.

Looks nice both ways but I personally like how it looks best without straps😅 if the dress is fitted to your measurements I think it will be tight enough where it won’t be falling

    I love both options!
I think you should add straps, but have them added on so they can be detachable. That way if you wanted to go strapless during the ceremony and then put them on for reception time, you won't have to worry about pulling on the top of your dress and will feel supported the rest of your day. Plus you could have 2 different looks with just one dress!

I like the straps better. But if they are removable you could mix looks, like Rabreena mentioned.

Okay, first off, your dress is GORGEOUS! I love the look of the textured straps too! I think from both a cosmetic and a practical perspective I'd go with the straps.

Both look excellent, but I’d go with straps. If you’re at all concerned that you’ll be pulling up your dress throughout the day, you’ll want them for support.
