Hey everyone! So I have been doing pretty much ALL of the planning, and I'm starting to see a pattern with my FH when it comes to vendors and quotes. I do my research and compare before I show him my picks and I always choose the most cost efficient. But he always comes back telling me to look for more that cost less! I guess I'm just getting a little frustrated because it's so easy for him to tell me to keep looking when he hasn't helped at all.

The issue I need some backup on is the florist. I was quoted well under $1k for the flowers. That includes bridal party, ceremony, welcome tables, reception tables and our bridal party table. He thinks that I can find something cheaper, but I am trying to make him understand that the price I was quoted was VERY rare.

What is everyone's opinions on this matter? How much do you intend to spend on flowers/greenery for your big day?

Costco and sams club is a great alternative to getting it cheaper if you want real flowers.

i think what you got quoted for sounds really cheap already though but like you said, honestly grooms don't often times know that because they aren't super involved.

I am not sure where you are located, but I am in New York and I have been quoted $3000 on the very low end for bare bones and $8000 on the top end.

    Send me the $1000 flowers!!

We're located in Georgia!! The girl we're working with is based in Atlanta and is fresh in the business so we're super lucky! I did look at a site where you can buy their collections and they ship them to you and it was pretty affordable as well!!

My FH was the same way and was always like cheaper is better and he just told me to come to him with options. It was frustrating that I would do everything and he wouldn't realize just how much things cost. We finally agreed on things but it was a struggle for sure. 1k for flowers sounds very very reasonable so I agree with you. Just maybe get multiple quotes and show him just how expensive it can be.
