Hi all,
We are 12 DAYS AWAY! 
So excited and everything is continuing to come together well. However--I need your advice/suggestions. Our outdoor wedding ceremony spot is perfect for our needs...there's just one ugly feature and it's unfortunately smack-dab in the front of where we are going to say our "i-do's". There's a concrete fire pit. We do not want to use it as such, because it's going to be daytime in September in San Diego (very warm day).
What would you put in this pit to pretty up the venue? I thought about filling it with potted flowers, but this is a pain to load in and haul out. Is there a shrub or something we could just plop in there? I'm at a total loss. I suppose I could ask our florist, but I mentioned it once to her and she didn't have any ideas or seem to want to mess with it.
Your creative ideas are SO welcome. I included a photo of the eye-sore for you to visualize what I'm talking about.
