hey all! So I bought my wedding dress almost a year ago, my wedding is in 2 months and I bought it right off the rack thinking maintaining my weight over a year would be easy! YEAH OKAY! Who knew the slightest fluctuations would make such a difference, but my dress is SNUG and my first alterations...
Hey all! So I bought my wedding dress almost a year ago, my wedding is in 2 months and I bought it right off the rack thinking maintaining my weight over a year would be easy! YEAH OKAY! Who knew the slightest fluctuations would make such a difference, but my dress is SNUG and my first alterations appointment is July 14th. The back of my dress is a beautiful button up and I REALLY do not want to have to add a coresstte to accomadate for my extra fat lol. So I need tips on what you guys did if you were in similar situations! I’ve obviously been cautious of what I’ve been eating and keeping carbs to a minimum but I don’t know if there are any work out suggestions (I don’t have access to a gym so my only options are running outside or work out videos online) that really worked for anyone who needed to drop the weight to fit into a dress fast! I’m freaking out and the stress of it all just makes me want to eat like crap even more!! Ugh 😑

    Cut out all wheat (pastas, cereals, breads etc) and sugar. Only drink water. Eat lean meats only. Eat small meals throughout the day. Portion control.

    21 Day Fix is sooo effective and easy to follow. It's been a great pre-wedding regimen for me because I don't have to think about it too much so I can still focus on wedding/ work.

    I need to lose 10lbs and I’m going to gym every day 30min cardio and 30mins strength training. I’m also considering doing the keto diet. I’ve looked up recipes online but I love carbs so I’m hoping for the best

    Yes it zips, I just feel like I’m suffocating!! Like boobs lay like pancakes and I have some fat that hangs over the side 🤣

    Thought I would post a little update, my seamstress worked absolute miracles and was able to fix the jacket for my dress which was ultimately the most uncomfortable and I didn’t have to let out my actual dress at all! Today I start the 30 day count down and I can’t believe it!

    I agree with 90% of this! I would not cut out cardio, however, just do more weight lifting. Cardio is great for your health, and any fitness coach will have you continue it - just put more emphasis on weights.

    Try counting your macronutrients. Many websites have calculators for them. Type in your goals and it will show you how many calories, carbs, fat, and protein you need to take in every day.

    Also, don't overdo it. If you are too strict, you are likely to crack and not succeed. There are a lot of fitness gurus who offer a variety of different workouts. Find one that works for you.

    No processed foods and LIMIT carbs big time think meats, veggies, nuts and seeds and ditch anything breaded dried ecr. Palo diet would be best keto is pretty crazy on fat. And RUN every day get up and slowly run as far as you can in the evenings hike. Also find a CrossFit group somewhere

    I did the Optavia 5&1 program and lost 20 pounds in 2 months!! You'll have to spend a few hundred dollars to buy their snacks but you lose the weight fast if you stick to it!

    If you keep your electrolytes up, either have magnesium and potassium supplements or make a ketorade, you shouldn't get "keto flu" and shouldn't feel bad at all. If you have a lot of high sugar though, I guess you would still get those withdrawals but def make sure to keep your electrolytes up!
