Hi all,
our wedding is still over a year out but I’m nervous about FH having a migraine on the day of our wedding. He tends to get incredibly intense migraines that can last for days. The first time I ever saw him have one, it scared me to death. I was genuinely considering taking him to the hospital, and then he told me that was just normal. We do acupuncture for him and that keeps them at bay, and lately they haven’t been as frequent or as bad. They tend to get triggered by stress and changes in air pressure. We’re having a November wedding in Chicago next year. There’s been times in the past where he got one on the worst day. He missed my graduation because of it, and the first time I met his family in his home state he had one, so I met them all by myself. Obviously I don’t hold any of that against him, and there’s no way to predict it, but it does make me nervous. Advice?

I second PP about botox—I know several people who it’s worked for. I get chronic migraines as well but mine are menstrual typically so what’s helped me (getting an IUD) probably won’t work for him.
