Hey, so alterations for me begin in April and as I near closer the more and more nervous I am for the possible costs. Since implementing covid PPE costs of things like masks and sanitizers and more tables to allow household seating, tent rental to move outside and live stream costs, I am afraid I just won’t have wiggle room in the budget for crazy costs. My MIL thinks no alterations for my dress are needed, and if so then very little cutting of the length. I pray she is right, but just to get an idea of the ball part of alteration pricing, can I know how much it cost to have your dresses altered? I won’t have anything added to the dress, I love it as it is.
I didnt have any shoes on so hopefully with my 4.25 inch heels it’ll give me enough height. I also want to keep the train as long as it is. I am trying still losing weight for the wedding but the corset drawstring back is adjustable. I appreciate your input on this.

This was my estimates for my Aline ballgown. I’m
    5’00 tall and usually wear a 0 my dress was a 4.

Hem- $160 (5 layers it would of been cheaper if I had 2 layers)
    Take in the straps $80
    Take in the back -$80
Total was $320 before tax and $344 after
The biggest disappointment was not being able to do a bustle because that was an additional $160 and I just didn’t want to spend that much more money. Your dress looks like it fits you wellSo the only thing you might need is a minor hem or a bustle. Your train doesn’t look to long.
