Never have I ever... spent so much money!

I've never spent so much money before as I have on this damn wedding...

I mean, I guess my graduate tuition costs way more than the wedding, but that's the cost of 3 years length of education. This is just one day!

I have. I spent more when I bought a mobile home years ago. I haven't started paying for anything yet, so that may change in time

My entire wedding is muuuuuch less than my college tuition. Heck it’s less than one grad school course! Lol

Not yet, but soon! We’re planning on purchasing a house before the nuptials and that will definitely be more

My college tuition was way more, even though we have a healthy budget

I'm sure my college degrees, cars and house will be more than I plan to spend on my wedding.

Our wedding cost is nothing compared to the house we just bought and did up.

This will be the most money we've ever spent at one time.

I have shelled out a lot of money for other things, college mostly.

NEVER have I ever spent so much money

My college degree was more than this wedding and I have spent almost double on my mortgage in the last 2 years. So this is definitely worth the money.

My wedding budget is on par with my total car price and is definitely less than the amount I spent on college. (Granted, I'm still paying for the car and the college loans took a few years to pay off, so I'm definitely shelling out more money in a faster time frame for the wedding!)

Nope, never spent this much money before, although the wedding will cost less than the downpayment for our house.

This will be a first for me! I can easily see how you could compare it a down payment on a house. Especially with the attire, rings, food, gifts, vendors, honeymoon, invitations, thank you cards, and so on.

Never have I ever spent this much money at once. The only other time I will shell out this much at one time will be a down payment on a house. But then it will be OUR money. I am paying for 90-100% of this wedding on my own so far. Hopefully he will start contributing to that fund soon! Side note: we live together and he pays for all but one bill and is putting back for our “grownup savings” (ya know, all of that stuff that isn’t wedding related lol). So, he’s not being a bum I’m just being a little whiny that right now it’s all coming out of my pocket. Lol.

My wedding fund now that I think about it is slightly more than what I put towards my student loans but we own our house so we definitely spend more on our mortgage.

My student loans well exceed my wedding costs. Not even a drop in the bucket comparatively sadly *sigh*
