Hi fellow NJ brides!

We're getting married at The Ryland Inn on 4.19.19 Besides our venue, we have our photographer booked, and are in talks right now with a DJ (looking at SCE Event Group), and about to sign the contract with our videographer and florist.

I'm also interested in pricing for DJs in this area, as I felt what I was quoted was sort of high, but not sure if that's just typical for the area that we're in.

Still in need of a shuttle for guests from hotel to venue. Considering Broadway Elite, they are the only ones that are reasonably priced. Need about 30 passenger van. No school buses. Everything is so expensive definitely looking for suggestions. Anyone work with Broadway Elite before?

Kayla, did you meet with anyone in particular? I know they actually sort of start their prices based on who is DJ'ing your event. We met with Tony because we met him at a bridal expo beforehand. I really like his vibe, he's super nice. I'm just hesitating on pulling the trigger because I feel like it's just so, so much money.

Everything is a la carte so (for us), it would come out to about 4750, and that's NOT including special lighting or photobooth. Pretty much just the DJ for ceremony, cocktail hour and 4 hour reception (3150), and their multi media package, with the screens on either side of the DJ booth, custom monogram and those sorts of things (1600).

Even if we went without the multi media package (which I am now strongly considering), it seems like quite a bit just for music. Idk, maybe I just don't understand "the biz"

I’m getting married Sept 21 of this year. We have the venue, DJ, Flowers, my hair and makeup my fiancé needs her hair and makeup and out photographer/videographer. What type of questions do you have?

Bdamaro - I just emailed with them, we didnt meet with anyone yet. But they have been recommended to us not only by our venue, but a few other people. Wow no I agree that is expensive, but also the DJ sets the ton for you reception. Luckily we dont need music for our ceremony and cocktail hour, so maybe it will be a little cheaper. We also dont need lighting our venue provides it. Where are you getting married? I have also heard great things about Elite Entertainment . This is defiantely a tough decision!

I’m from Northern Jersey. Getting married in September of this year. So far I have the venue and the cake is included and few other things , dj which is a package deal with both video and photography also having a photo booth. Also have florist. All are reasonable prices. If you have any questions feel free to ask

I was just at a wedding at The Ryland Inn in November. It was very beautiful. The ceremony was outside and the weather was perfect. The reception room was gorgeous with the monogram and lighting.

I am getting married on 9/16/2018 at The Icona Avalon in...you guessed it...Avalon! We are using the following

~ photographer: Serena Starr

~ DJ/lighting/monogram: Inspired DJs (Tommy Keller). He used to be with A1 Entertainment but then branched out on his own.

We met Serena and Tommy at a bridal expo in Sea Isle last march, and my fiance and I really clicked with both of them, so we were set on booking.

~ hair/makeup - Jessica from Your Day Your Way (Serena actually recommended her)

~ Florist : Manic Botanic

All are south jersey vendors located near the shore points. Catering/cake is done by Icona chefs so don't have to worry about outside vendors there.

Where in NJ? I'm up north and getting married in Ocean Grove. I would love to help you out!

I’m sure they have to be competitive with any other company though. They were a preferred vendor for The Ryland Inn where we are getting married so I’m comfortable that I’m in good hands and I’m just going to trim our package down until it’s a manageable price lol

Congrats everyone! I'm getting married in NJ on June 29th. It's coming up so fast! We're working on getting everything set. I still need someone someone to do my hair. Any suggestions? I'm looking for an on site person near West Orange. I also don't want to spend a ton. Let me know of you guys have any suggestions and good luck to you all!!
