Hi everyone! My fiancé and I are looking for venues in central/ North Jersey area. Hopeful date of October 2020! We are having trouble finding a place that is pocket friendly. We are also paying the bulk of it. Most of the places we found so far that we love are $135 a plate! Which we feel is a little too much for our pockets. Also we are having trouble finding a venue that can accommodate our head count of 100-120 on a friday/saturday night.

We need a venue that can also host a ceremony. And basically one that is all inclusive meaning, food service, bar package, tables with linens and cutlery included, as well as desert/ wedding cake. My fiancé is also is very keen on outdoors option, either for a ceremony or cocktail hour

So far the places that we love are Addison Park in Arberdeen NJ. (135/155 per plate friday/ Saturday in October)
and The Farmhouse in Hampton, NJ (165 per plate in October) minimum guest of 125/150 as well :/

I just need more suggestions of where to look because i’m not familiar with NJ venues at all! I feel like there’s cheaper places that meet these points! and a DIY venue is something I cannot handle on my own as I live in currently live in Pa and i’m an RN that works night shift 🙃

We ended up going with The Olde Mill Inn in Basking Ridge. It’s a little more expensive but once we saw it we were in love and they literally checked off all of the boxes, also my fiancé and parents insisted on a saturday wedding so that will make it more expensive as well. But they do offer some discounts as well! Since i’m a registered nurse, we got the upgraded suite for the night of our wedding free and a nice chunk of money off! Also perfect that the hotel is on site and they provide a room block, all of our guests are basically making an hour more or more drive, so it’s worth it in my eyes. I would definitely check it out!

I know I might be late for the game, but we are in the same boat. Here is what we have found:
    1. Lake Valhala Club: $160 pp all inclusive2. Blue Heron Pines: $95 pp not including tax and gratutity
    3. Renault Winery: $110 pp not including tax and gratuity (not a lot of food for your money, but being renovated right now)4. The Hampton Manor: we were just quoted $130 pp, but that might change once I say we want an October wedding5. The Boathouse at Mercer Lake: $130 pp not including tax and gratuity
