I have been Carole B since I was 20 years old. For 30 years, I have written Carole B. I am having a very difficult time writing Carole M.

I STILL sign my maiden name at least half of the time. I forget Smiley smile I'm not a fan of the cursive S. I kind of do a lower case "s" just big.

My signature is mostly a scribble. His last name (12 letters) is longer than my very short first, middle, and last name (11 letters combined) so I'm trying to get use to the feeling that it is taking me a ridiculously long time to sign things.

Mine's easy...last initial stays the same...I use my initials alot at work so I'm stoked that it won't change! lol FH told me that I write way too neat and need to change my signature to scribbles so that it's harder to duplicate?! I'm confused by this, wouldn't scribbles be easier to duplicate?

I have mine mastered already Smiley smile I hate my last name so im excited and cant wait to have a common and "not ugly" last name lol. I also hate writing my last name cursively, I never found a cute way to write it. And whats weird is my mom told me she hates our last name too and that it always looks ugly no matter how you write it. haha so i guess its true

@now4ever I used to have to sign checks for work and everyone always told me the same thing, that it was good that it was a scribble because it's harder to duplicate.

My first initial is staying the same, I'm legally hyphenating it, but will just go by his name mainly. But I just renewed my nursing license last month and I think I need to pay to change the name on it, so I'm not going to legally change the name on that (plus I think if I put my hyphenated name I have to always legally sign the whole thing) so I'm leaving that in my maiden name so I know I will get confused and sign my maiden name when I should sign my married name and vice versa

I am having the same problem, but I am going from a G to L and getting the flow of the L is not so easy... I have been trying out different ways to sign the L .... I am happy to be going from a long last name (7 letters) to a short one (3 letters).

I love my soon to be last name. Going from an E to a D , and I pretty much scribble mine except for the first initial of each name.

My previous last name was McGraw so I did a capital G and I liked it this way....

I messed up a little on my SS card. Started writing an X and than remembered I needed an S. My old name just flows so naturally from my pen, I have to put effort into writing the right last name. I'm the type that just writes my name out legibly, so it looks like my normal writing. There's nothing to practice lol

I am going from a D to LeBlanc... I currently sign a cursive S D...scribble scribble...t (just S and my last name)... now I am going to have to practice with a last name with two upper case letters...ugh, it is proving to be very difficult. Who knew something so simple would take so much effort! Smiley smile
