New Orleans Bachelorette this weekend?

Crystal, on July 11, 2019 at 12:10 AM Posted in Parties and Events 0 11
Was anybody else headed to New Orleans this weekend for their bachelorette party? Tropical storm/possible hurricane Barry has other plans for us! Still working on getting the Airbnb cancelled but our new destination is: Denver!

That’s disappointing Crystal, however, it’s important to ensure you and your friend's safety.

What matters most is that you and your friends will be together and will have a blast no matter the location Smiley smile

How many will be going to the bachelorette?

Going to NOLA at the end of November for mine! Hopefully the weather will be okay then! So sorry the weather is bad for your weekend, but Denver should be fun too!

New Orleans is so much fun and has so much character. I’ve been before and it’s one of my fave cities. But I’ve never been to Denver so I’m really excited about our new destination!

Wasn't planning a trip there this weekend, but I do live like 2 hours from NOLA. Just know Denver will be so much compared to worrying about this storm.

I live in New Orleans now. The weather is pretty unpredictable. It’s supposed to get very bad and trust me, you don’t want to be stuck here!

One of the major things with planning my wedding was working around events such as hurricane season, summer, Mardi Gras, lent, and football season.
Thankfully I’ll be getting married in New Orleans on January 17, 2020. My bachelorette will also be here- in October.
Sorry you had to postpone your trip to NOLA. Hope you will come visit us... maybe in the fall time. Much better weather.

Were you able to get full refunds and things like that?

Yes we were. It was easy to get an Airbnb refund because it falls under extrenuating circumstances but the airline required a lot of persuasion to give a full refund!
