My fiancé and I were thinking about having our ceremony at the aquarium here in Charleston, found out it’s gonna be 7000.00....NOPE!!!!
We want to keep with the fish theme we have, does anyone have any good ideas where to have a ceremony and it not be overly pricey

No ideas but that is my favorite aquarium! I had no idea it would be so expensive to get married there.

Maybe if you guys have any local parks nearby that have a body of water so that you can still showcase that theme?

I was going to suggest the same thing Caitlin did. I'd definitely look into a local park or even a beachside wedding where fish are abundant.

I'd look into local parks or community centers. There are plenty of other ways to pull off a fish theme with your decor, without being near a body of water

Yes check out the c hardest on county parks page! They rent beautiful venues for like 2 grand sometimes cheaper. Also thought about a marina? My family grew up on lake Moultrie so that’s an option too

How did you find out it was 7K? I've been looking at them for a while and on their website PDF Saturday nights are $4,900, have their prices changed?
