J JHouse has a mixed reputation. The dresses are k ock offs. The pictures are often lifted from a designer line. But the factory making it does not have the designer's pattern, has much cheaper materials. And may have some good stitchers, and some places using totally unskilled labor. You may get a very nice dress that their in-factory patternmaker makes. You may get cheap materials that would fall apart after a cleaning, but look and feel great for one day. And you may get such awful material it scratches you, dresses where the waistline dips on one hip and the hem is uneven. A friend got a great poly dress, a simple elegant cut. But in a production hurry, they installed the zipper upside down, and I got to fix it. And some topstitching in cream thread on a bright white dress, while the darts were in a bluish white. I spent 6 hours taking it apart and putting it together. I had to stitch a pattern of beads and crstals at the neckline to disguise the fact they made one shoulder bigger She is han the other. And I had to stick an extra piece in, cut from extra hem, to make it fit. But, with the beading, no one saw the fault, and on a simple dress, the soft sheen of the beading was great. She saved $600. But had she used a paid dressmaker, it would have cost her big-time. Don't get rid of your other dress. If you can, pay with a charge card that will hold up payment for shoddy goods. And hope you are one who gets a very nice, attractive, we'll made, affordable dress.

This dress had 4 pages of reviews that were all positive and most of the reviews had photos. They are also returnable and you can get a full refund. I wont get rid of the other dress until after the wedding just in case. Thank you for the suggestions.

If the particular factory group is doing a lot of that dress to good reviews, then you are likely getting a good knockoff. It is the variability that makes waiting for it tough!
