New year new goals

Hello fellow brides 💍 with this new year I started a weight loss plan (I know cliche) and I'm super excited about it! 😆 I've been hitting the gym with FH and following a balanced calorie deficit meal plan. I'd love to lose 50 lbs. Whether it happens by May or not it doesn't matter but that's my goal. I'm enjoying the process and I'm excited to see results (only been 3 days lmao)


Anyone else begin a new program or have been following one?

Or maybe just working out and staying healthy?

    I work out regularly but ever since the pandemic, i've been slacking off. i will still do regular work outs but i am totally not putting as much effort in them at all and when i don't feel like it anymore i stop haha. it's really bad because i used to go to one hour studio classes but then now with the pandemic and i do at home workouts there are days i will only do like 15 minutes xD

    so my goal is definitely to get on a better track

    Back in July I started IF and lost 20lbs. Took a break with all the holidays and I am starting up again to hopefully lose the last 20lbs. I am already down 4lbs for this year so things are looking up!!

    Yes! Been working out from home on a yoga mat. Doing Chloe Ting YouTube videos. Lost 12lbs in eight weeks. Maintaining my weight now. Haven't decided if I want to lose more.

    Diets never worked for me and felt more constricting than liberating, so I stopped jumping on the 'trendy diet' bandwagon haha!

    We go to the gym regularly during the week, and cook more at home! I think it really comes down to your portions, what you're actually eating, and your physical activity! I also don't weigh myself because I don't want to become obsessed over a number. For me it's about becoming stronger and healthier!

    Nice! I agree with not weighing yourself. It like stresses me out. But I do do it like every few moths to see where I'm at number wise.

    And same I don't like restricted diets. My diet is not to have burgers and fries lol that's my weakness. I just try cooking balances meals.

    I do the same with weighing! I just have to remind myself that a pound of muscle and a pound of fat weigh the same. So if I feel and look like I've lost weight, but the scale doesn't reflect that, then that's fine!! It just means I'm gaining muscle and strength!

    We've cut out heavy carbs from our diet lol. I miss pasta SO MUCH!
