Newly wed demostration

Jasmine, on August 15, 2024 at 1:34 PM Posted in Community Conversations 0 2

Hi everyone!

I just came to ask if anyone signs up for all the free emails and events like I do. Has anyone ever gone to the bridal/newlywed culinary demonstration in VA, and if so, were the gifts (i.e., the all-inclusive trip) real?! Is there any real benefit from attending those wedding experiences that come to the convention centers??

The culinary events are usually selling expensive pans. The trips are usually real but some people have had to kind of wait around if they did not want the whole sales pitch. It is better to avoid these if there is a chance you would be enticed to buy the pans or other expensive products (that pay for those trips that people enjoy).

The bridal shows can be nice for browsing around and getting some ideas for your wedding. The drawback is you get on email lists and usually get more emails saying "you have won a discounted whatever." Hopefully you have your separate email account for all these emails.

I agree, I would have a dummy email account for the spam that you'll be getting after the event. A lot of the "prizes" are pretty much a scam, so due diligence is a good idea!
