We looked at & loved the Madison Hotel Conservatory but they're only available for lunch and we are not sure yet if we want to commit to that.

We have 4-5 places in Cape May to see this weekend and want to explore a few more options so we aren't just limited to Cape May or the Madison hahaha.

I LOVE Feast at Round Hill too but they only had Dec dates and he was like "i will level with you, the fountains are all off and it's not really as beautiful outside after the weather gets cooler" so I have them on my list as an option but it's really better for spring and summer, apparently.

I love Mountain Creek! I should look into that!

    Thanks!!

Have you looked into the Farmstead Golf & Country Club? I didn’t want an ordinary ballroom and their reception area is NOT that.

I’m also getting married at Mountain Creek! The price is $110-130pp and there is a reception venue fee of $2k (I think) and if you want your ceremony at the top of the mountain it is $3k. I picked it for the price, the view, and everything is all in one place. We live in Jersey City so anything in the area is very expensive.

We did not fancy Smithville Inn. We thought the reception area is nice but the cocktail hour room and ceremony room are way too outdated for our taste. It also had low ceilings (except reception room).

The Hamilton Inn is also nicely priced and beautiful.

We loved One Atlantic in AC!

Thank you!! I called mountain creek. I have been to weddings at the smithville inn. it's a totally different type of place overall but I love smithville in general for pictures and location and the lake and the mill.... and I love the outdoor ceremony space so I would hope we can be outside, to be honest, although its November. but yes it's definitely that old inn feel.

We’re getting married at Crystal Point in Point Pleasant. It overlooks the manasquan river. The food is out of this world and the view is beautiful.

We're getting married at Mountain View Manor in Glen Spey, NY! It's a beautiful old manor and not a "cookie cutter" type venue.

I looked into places in Cape May such as Congress Hall, and they were completely rude. Like my wedding didn’t mean anything to them. They made us wait at the front desk for 45min PASSED our appt time. I told the front desk that apparently they can’t keep appointments and I wouldn’t have my wedding here. Then (the same day) we went to the Ocean Club Hotel where the event organizer NEVER showed for my appt. Granted our venue is in Maryland, we fell in love with the Chesapeake Inn’s Staff!

I have heard from multiple people that congress hall was rude as well. we are looking there but also at some other quaint hotel places that we are excited about. the woman at congress hall was nice via email and said since it's this year and off-season she can offer some discounts and pricing options that might help us, etc. but i will see what they're like in person. i appreciate the feedback!

I'm getting married at the Woodcliff Manor in Woodcliff Lake NJ in November 2019. I suggest looking there it is definitely a unique venue with lots of freedom to create a great experience for you and your guests. The owners and employees are so helpful, and their prices for northern NJ are incredibly reasonable. =)

They are fantastic I looked at several places in the area, and they are by far the place that fit our vision the best and is uncommon to the area. =)

I'm getting married at Architects Golf Club in August. It has a beautiful tented pavilion. I didn't want a ballroom/banquet hall either! It's in Lopatcong, NJ.
