Camden County Boathouse is super cute, elegant and affordable, and that is why I chose it for my venue. You bring in your own alcohol and pick from their list of approved caterers. It's everything else that's raised our budget, but not the venue!

We just recently booked our wedding at the Ramsey Golf & Country Club for June 22, 2019 :-)
Like you, I wanted something different without breaking the bank. Their prices are pretty reasonable and they're willing to work with you - you could probably get a price close to what you're looking to spend. We also are expecting to invite around 150 people. I would definitely recommend calling them. Michael, the man who pretty much runs the entire place, is the nicest person! Although we're still early on in the wedding process, he has been soo helpful with absolutly everything.

Can't remember who mentioned The Majestic at Ocean Grove earlier, but that place was really nice! I went to a wedding there a couple years back. It definitely can't hold more than 50, 60 people though. I think the wedding I was at was closer to 70 people and we felt a bit crammed in there, but still had a great night! The rooms were awesome too :-)

Yes - i thought the same about the majestic. Ramsey is very pretty too! i called them and I think the issue was they had no dates left in Nov - I have to check my notebook.

I vote the carriage house. I'm getting married there in 3 weeks, so it's a biased opinion, but its BEAUTIFUL!

We wound up booking Congress Hall in Cape May. they had a winter package that they were able to give us for November since its this year and had 2 days that weren't booked yet so we just lucked out. we heard from a few people that they were kind of dismissive but the sales manager that met with us was super nice, came out right away and has been very responsive on email so we went with our gut and booked. cape may is sentimental for us and it just made sense

Yes to Mountain Creek! I am also getting married there next May and for everything that is included in the package, you can't beat the price. It would be absolutely gorgeous and cozy in November. They may still have the mountain top ceremony option in November. I toured the venue in mid October and they were setting up for a ceremony up there.

Check Spring Lake Manor in Spring Lake, NJ. Beautiful Victorian Mansion, the wedding coordinator is amazing and you cannot beat the price! I Just got married there and it was very memorable and beautiful. I didn't like the traditional places either and this is a quaint, small, romantic venue. I live in North Jersey as well and this was more than an hour away from me but soooo worth it! I wish i could do it again!

I am getting married in Skillman, NJ at the Cherry Valley Country Club. While it is a more traditional venue, space itself is anything but in my opinion. No crystal chandeliers or floors. The decor is modern.

While yes weddings are expensive, this venue gives you a great value for what you get! We are getting married in April. We have had our tasting, the food is phenomenal!

My fiancé and I booked at The Elan in Lodi.

I'm getting married on the beach in Sea Isle but our reception is being held at Avalon Links Golf Club! Its a super cute venue and very affordable! Best part is that Dawn the wedding coordinator is amazing! Ever single vendor we have booked has told us how much they live dawn and our venue! Check it out....you may just fall in love like we did! Ps....food is amazing!
