nj / pa wedding venues $12k & under

Kevin, on January 29, 2024 at 5:31 PM Posted in Planning 0 3
Hello I’m looking for a wedding venue that will fit around 115 people for $12k and under with tax & gratuity. We’re probably going to spend around $8k on venders and want to keep the wedding under $20k.

We’re looking anywhere in NJ or PA. We prefer to avoid the ballroom look but will entertain anything. Thanks for any help!!

It’s an unpopular opinion but check out the local city parks department owned venues. They typically are very inexpensive and have much more flexibility than an all inclusive venue. They often have tables, chairs and a kitchen on site and allow you to locate vendors within your budget without being locked into high minimums, vendors you don’t like or can afford and bait and switch tactics.

You can get a favorite local restaurant to provide drop off catering, get flowers and cake from a local grocery store for a fraction of the price and still come out paying less than the minimum for an all inclusive.

You can try the surrounding counties around Philly. Try counties like Bensalem, Bristol and the Main Line (476, Villanova). Maybe Montgomery county and Center City Philly. You can do the same for NJ as well.

Yes!!! My uncle got married at Red Bank Battlefield, which is a really beautiful Revolutionary battlefield in Camden, NJ. They took pics after their ceremony in the old medical house, which is a beautiful old house that has a garden of medicinal plants. Then they had their reception at their house, but you could do it at a restaurant if you wanted to (that might be easier logistically)
