No bachelors or bachelorette parties?

miss, on August 6, 2018 at 3:24 PM Posted in Parties and Events 0 20
Anyone else skipping the bachelors/bachelorette parties? FH and I don’t have any bridal party, it’s just us. And our wedding is family only. So we are probably skipping the pre-wedding festivities. Is that a normal thing to do? 😂

Only do what makes you comfortable. I had no bachelorette as I just didn't want one. Hubby took Best Man and officiant out the night before for ribeye and scotch - that was about it!!

Have your own!!! Spa day, then nice dinner together, strip club after?!?! Lol Possibilities are endless! And might be a fun bonding experience. Good luck and congratulations on your special day! Smiley kiss

We are skipping this. No one offered to throw us one and some people in our bridal party are underaged so we wouldn't want them left out.

No traditional parties here. We are having a destination wedding and will all be going out Saturday night as a group the night before the wedding. Having a “girls pool day” that afternoon, and a “recovery day” with a cabana the day after the wedding.

I had 2 friends ask to host but wed rather skip. We are having a small low budget wedding so id rather no one have to put the money and effort into something like that. I did go out with friends the night of my bridal brunch and that was enough for me😊

Not into party scenes. Our wedding parties are just hanging out, spa day and movie for us ladies and the guys are going to the range. It's your day, it's what you. Live it up.

I almost decided on no bachelorette party, FH is having one. Me and my girls are just going to Dave and Busters for an evening of some food drinks and fun, but nothing crazy. If you dont want one then that's up to you. Do what makes you comfortable.

I'm skipping mine but my FH is having one. I'm not interested in going out and doing a destination thing. Maybe I should consider doing a Dave & Buster's night closer to my wedding when my out of state bridesmaids are in town but overall, I'm happy with not having one.

We are skipping out on those parties as well...we also will not have bridesmaids/groomsmen...I will however spend the night before the wedding with all the women of both our families eating....relaxing near the venue. I will be staying at a hotel that night as well.

We are skipping them as well. Second marriage for both of us. We don't have bridesmaids/groomsmen either. I have a friend who wants to hose a wine tasting in my honor, which I think might be fun. Trying to figure out who to invite though, since the wedding is so small and people are coming in from all over.

We took separate small trips with friends. No one needs a penis crown/a shot glass or stripper.

My fiancé is having one, but I'm not. I don't care for it.

Yup! It’s fine. We didn’t have a WP either and I have diverse groups of friends. No big parties. Two lovely friends took me & my mom to brunch—so sweet.

I'm opting out of a shower and bachelorette party. We have everything we could need for our house, so I dont see the point of a shower. I'd just feel greedy. And I'm not a partier so I wouldn't want a bachelorette. At most maybe myself and the bridesmaids can get lunch someday just so they can all meet. I say do what you're comfortable with. The wedding industry can be such a racquet.

I told my MOH when she asked that all I wanted was a camping weekend with the girls like we used to do before we got so busy with careers. Just a tent some wine and some "gourmet" camp food - smores, banana boats, brown bears, doughboys and for something kinda healthy... tacos in a bag, foil dinners, and garbage pizzas.

I doubt I’ll have a bachelorette party. I’m not a partied, neither is my MOH, and my BM lives out of state. A group of my work friends may take me for happy hour, but that will be the limit of it.
I doubt FH will have a bachelor party. BM is out of state and he’s not close to his brother (why he’s a GM is a mystery to me).

We think it’s kind of silly, but we’re 45 and 52. When we stay out past our bedtime, our backs hurt the next day.

My 13 and 11 year old daughters are my bridal party and I plan on going out to paint! Maybe you could go get a massage or something nice for yourself for your party !

None here. Like you we dont have bridal party. My moh is my 8 yr old so her idea of a party is ice cream lol. We've actually come to the realization that we dont have friends lol. The night before the wedding I will be relaxing in a hotel claw foot bathtub with a good book and to me that's a perfect night
