NO Boobs For my Dress :(

FutureWifey, on January 2, 2013 at 11:16 AM Posted in Fitness and Health 0 17

I had my son approx. 7 months ago and just stopped nursing 2 months ago and no my boobs are even smaller then b4(36B). I love my dress but darn I wanted to have nice boobs on my wedding day(74 days away)..any tips. I think I may have my fiance convinced to let me get a boob job if I can find a place where you don't have to pay right away..lol The joys of motherhood..Smiley smile

You're giving me hope that my girls will in fact get smaller after I have children. I'm with Amy, a boob job is a pretty drastic step to have nice boobs on your wedding day. Push up bras or chicken cutlets are an inexpensive way to get the look you want without all the hurt and whatnot.

And welcome to WW! I hope you'll update your avatar (the rings) to a unique pictures we can remember when we help you in the future! Here's how to do that and more: https://www.weddingwire.com/wedding-forums/welcome-to-the-weddingwire-forums-please-read-if-you-are-new/b433c40c1a62b96a.html

Yeah, I would definitely not go the plastic surgery route this close to your wedding day... It would be awful if you were still sore on a day when you're receiving so many hugs!!

Talk to the alterations department where you got your dress, see if they can sew in some padding or something. A friend of mine has pretty small boobs and with a good bra, she was still looking good on her wedding day.

VS only sells bras that add anywhere between 17 and 432 cup sizes, so you should be OK :-)

Get push up cups sewn into your dress if you can.

Try wearing two bras. The first bra should be push up and the second doesn't have to be, but it will make you look fuller on the sides while still giving you the lift. (credit to Jenna Marbles).

My mom got me some fake "boobs" lol, I am not quite sure what they are called or where she got them but I can find out I am going to her house for lunch here in a few mins.

You should be just fine without having to undergo the knife ...with a push up bra and the "chicken cutlets"...well my bridal boutique referred to them as "gel inserts," SO I suppose that sounds better Smiley smile Also, I breastfed for 10 months, my son is now 19 months, and the "girls" just dont look/feel the same from when I was lactating, so I get the frustration! I suggest a budoir photo shoot before hand as well in order to get that confidence pumping before the big day!!! SMILE Smiley smile

Reenski, are we s'posed to pay our tatas forward, too? I've been trying to give them away, but I think FH would be mad... LOL That was one BIG reason why I had to fore-go the pattern I originally chose for my dress... they didn't make a pattern size large enough for the girls Smiley sad So, it sucks both ways. If you have a specialty shop - like Maidenform or even a private maker like we have in Austin - they may have ideas as well!

You should get boobs sewn into your dress AND wear a stick on bra that give you cleavage (assuming your dress has a low back). That is what my seamstress told me to do if I wanted A LOT of boob shown.

@Miranda, I've got friends who have dibs on my girls should I ever be able to pay them forward. Smiley smile I tried on a few sweetheart gowns, supposedly good for my girls, and mom was like, HELL to the NO. I'm just happy they got in my gown and fit so well (thanks no sugar, lots of cardio diet!)

Can't wait for my lift/reduction after I have the babies!

ETA: Not having babies anytime soon. Don't need any ladies misconstruing the above statement.

So relatable! I'm also not too blessed with an attractive bra size. I've stumbled upon a super charming haltered gown but it seems that I can only be wearing it in my dreams! Smiley smile But let's see, I might wear a pair of fake silicone bra inserts (from FakeABaby, etc.) and alongside taking some wild yam or fenugreek supplements, lol!
