Hi All!

I'm getting married in August and am thinking about not carrying anything as I walk down the aisle. I'm not hard set on this decision; but it has come across my mind.

I love flowers, even though I'm allergic, and I have nothing against bouquets. However, I'm not sure about spending money on something that I don't plan on holding very long. My grandfather is walking me down the aisle so my hands won't be completely empty.

What are your thoughts? Has anyone done this or plan to?

Thanks!

    That sounds so personal!
I'm not a DIY type of girl so I'll definitely need some assistance!

A few ideas but not anything set in stone. I’m even contemplating walking down the aisle with a margarita or glass of wine in hand! Haha! Ideally I want to find something 80s themed though. Or maybe I’ll make my own bouquet with fake flowers? Too many options!

I think a lot of brides are doing fake flowers or looking for alternatives these days. Can’t wait to see what you choose!

I plan to not have a bouquet and my bridesmaids can have boutineers like the groomsmen. I think it’s just an extra expense not needed. After everyone walks down the aisles and I meet my groom at the alter I plan for the wedding party to sit in the second row as well. They don’t need to stand for long .
