no bridal Party, way to honor Friends?

Taylor, on November 26, 2019 at 11:19 AM Posted in Community Conversations 0 10
Does anyone have any creative ways to honor your friends who would have been in your bridal party if you had gone that route? My fiance and I have opted to go without a bridal party but we have both stood up in many friends weddings and have very good friends we'd like to honor. We are doing a brunch style wedding perhaps without a seating chart (undecided) but thought about designating a friends table with a nice card at the table with a note to our friends. Does anyone have any other experience or ideas on this?

I think a table honoring them would be nice. Getting a small gift would also work.

You could also ask them to take some pictures with you! They don't have to be matching like a bridal party but then you have professional pictures with them from your big day!

Also, you could ask someone to do a reading, ask someone else to do a short toast!

I think that would be sweet of you to give them their own table of honor!

I’m not having a bridal party but I’m still including my closest friends in many of the standard bridal party activities. I’m inviting them to the rehearsal dinner and to get ready with me. I’ll get them all a gift for the wedding day.

My best friend (who is one of my bridesmaids) has decided not to do a bridal party. However, she has asked her closest girlfriends to get ready with her the day of. I honestly feel very honored that she’s asked me to spend the day with her despite her not having a bridal party.

That is definitely what I was planning for my closest girfriends and think that's a great idea! We just wanted to make sure our friends were honored at the reception.

You could get them corsages/boutonnieres and ask them to get ready with you.
