No Honeymoon here.....

We have decided NOT to go on a Honeymoon after the wedding. Also, we do not need anything else for the household. We wanted to create a link so that guests and invitees can contribute funds. Has anyone done this before? Not really looking for sites to create. I already know who I would like to use....

If you aren't going to register for gifts, I wouldn't do anything at all. People will default to cash if there isn't a registry. Setting up a fund at that point seems less polite.

Our Save the Dates went out around Christmas as combo Christmas cards and invites just went out last week twelve weeks before the wedding. I wouldn’t bother doing save the date cards at this point, most people don’t respond to them it’s generally just a heads up. I’d save the postage and stationary cost and just do invites.

Thank you. I was thinking of using social media for save the date. Selecting certain people for it. The same would go for non-social media people. I'd go thru e-mail.
