Maybe it's just me, but I've never understood why people make such a big deal about wanting to bring kids to a wedding anyway! IMO, I'd rather get a sitter and have a nice date with fh at the wedding then have to wrangle kidlets.

That's all you can do. If they can't find a babysitter in 3 months then that's their problem.

Im trying to figure out how were going to handle this once invitations go out. I went to a party last weekend for our best mans daughters 1st bday. I commented to his wife how beautiful her babies dress was and then she said "i know right! shes totally wearing it to your wedding" I didnt even know what to say.. Save the dates were only addressed to the Best man and his wife as Mr & Mrs.

That was the most nicely worded shut down.
