No makeup bridesmaid?

So I have a bridesmaid who does not want to wear makeup for the wedding.... but the other five will be wearing makeup, and I would really like everyone to have it for photos... what should I do in this situation? I’m a bit torn! 😬

I don’t wear makeup and won’t be wearing it for my wedding. And I also don’t care if my bridesmaids wear makeup or not. With that said, if I was a bridesmaid and the bride asked me to wear makeup I would without hesitation wear makeup. It’s your day and wearing makeup is a small ask for someone on your special day. Obv if they are allergic or have skin issues that’s a different story.

Honestly she should just suck it up. She's going to wear makeup for what just a few hours at most. Wearing makeup for a few hours isn't going to change her personality and it is a tiny ask really.

This is always such a fascinating debate. I am pro make up, and my sister is not. I want to ask my sister kindly to wear makeup to the wedding for the photos, but my FH says to leave it alone and that it doesn't matter... Everyone is so different. Not to be a huge bridezilla, but I don't think it's out of line to ask someone to wear make up if you're offering to pay for it and/or have it professionally applied for them. We can even go super duper natural on it, and whatever it is that makes you feel most comfortable. But the key is just having a nice foundation for the pictures. My wedding/reception is 3 hours in total. Just take it off afterword's. I know a lot of people don't like that answer - But that's just me. Smiley smile

Glad someone agrees haha. I've said something similar before (not here) and I've been called a bridezilla Smiley amazing I don't think it is unreasonable.

I've learned to take that with a grain of salt. People looove to throw that word around some times lol.
