Disclaimer I haven’t reached out at all, since our wedding.

If it’s been over 10 weeks, I would definitely reach out and ask when you can expect your pictures and remind the photographer that your contract states 10 weeks maximum for delivery.

I would definitely reach out and ask for an ETA.

If it's been over 10-11 weeks, I would definitely reach out to your photographer! Mention that you're super excited to see your photos, and you were curious as to when you can expect to receive them.

I was married in July and didn’t get my pictures back until November. I reach out on three different occasions. Giving about 3 weeks space between each. I initially contacted him about 10 weeks after the wedding to get an estimate.

I think if you haven’t heard anything back at all, it’s reasonable to reach out and ask for an estimate. Especially if there is a time frame on your contract.

I would reach out, don’t worry about being annoying. You paid someone so they need to follow through and provide you with the best service!

Of course.. if you’re concerned then call. I’m not clear on the reason for hesitating.

View Quoted Comment Definitely call! You’re not being annoying at all, especially when it’s been longer than the contracted amount of time. She actually should have reached out to YOU by now and provided and update. Also creating a “don’t harass me” post as a wedding vendor is horrible. Now she’s caused you (and probably others) to feel intimidated. But I’m certain she would have “harassed” you if you didn’t pay your balance on time. Unfortunately photographers/videographers shouldn’t take on more than they can handle editing in an appropriate amount of time.
