No point of a garter if there's no toss?

There's nothing wrong with having a garter with or without a toss. If there's no toss, it'll be a fun surprise for your spouse after the reception! ETA I bought one and wasn't planning a toss. Ended up forgetting it and surprising him with it on our honeymoon. Probably best that way. My legs were sooo sweaty after the wedding that we showered before crashing into bed!

Wearing one just to show him. But probably will have a set and wear one during the wedding and switch it out before bed.

I've never seen a garter tossed; I've been in 4 bridal parties and none of the brides have worn garters. If you want one, get one.

I'm not doing a toss, FH has no idea that I'm going to be wearing one anyways for when we finally get some serious alone time.

Wear one and get the one of your dreams! This is your wedding and something like a garter no one should get a say on other than you!

I think itd be nice to still have one. There are many cheap but beautiful garter options out there so it's not like it would hurt your budget to get one

I don't want an elastic band around my thigh if it's unnecessary. If you like the thought of your husband seeing it on you, put one on when you change into whatever after the wedding.

I'm not doing a toss, but I still got one to wear. I'm gunna have a few pics taken of it. Is it necessary? No, but there are many that are very inexpensive ad of you want one, I say do it. It's your day!

You can really do whatever you want. We only bought one for the toss. I completely forgot too and H had to run to a store in the mall to get a set. We tossed one and have no idea where the other one is. HaHa! What are you thinking of doing with it after the wedding? If we ever find mine we'll probably just throw it away. I just don't need more stuff.

For those of you that surprised your spouse. Were they excited about it? I think H would have been like "that's great. There's a piece of lace around your leg" LOL

We're not doing either, then again we are not ones for tradition either.

I planned for the garter and bouquet toss but had too much fun and forgot. I had planned to put the garter on right before we did the toss. I didn't want to wear it/deal with rubbing all day. I'm not sure what to do with my unopened, unused garter. It's pretty, but in retrospect, kind of a waste of money.

We're not doing one. All our friends are married or engaged... Plus i hate garters.
