No point of a garter if there's no toss?

My sister thinks because I'm not doing a garter toss I don't need a garter *spoiled foot stomp.* I guess I could save the money and not get one, what do you all think? I thought it would a fun prop for after the wedding, that's just me...

FYI Jameena I purchased a silk robe from a small lingerie boutique recently. The salesperson asked me if I needed a garter and threw a free one on the bag. Not sure this is something other shops do or not....

I've seen some really cute pics of the bride and groom and the bride holding her leg up showing off the garder! Obviously you don't need to show other people that pic, but I think it's a sexy memory!! Smiley winking get one for s decent price off etsy if you want to save $$

I'm totally still getting one even though we aren't doing the toss. Do it if you want to!

We wore them as our "something blue." And I would just point out that these days, they are normally sold in sets of two, so you'll have one for tossing and one to keep. So if you're not tossing, no reason you can't have the one to keep.

I'm not doing a toss but I still wanted a garter. I bought a really pretty bling-y one! If you want one then get it!! Doesn't matter what anyone else says!

I disagree. I don't want to do the toss but I will have a garter. You can still wear it on your wedding night

I wouldn't think that's a bad idea. I saw one I loved and was going to get to have - maybe wedding night or honeymoon. But in noway did I want a toss!

It isn't like it's a huge expense. If you want it, get it.

I'm doing a garter and likely skipping the toss. Do what you want. My sister had two so she could keep one and toss one. To each they're own.

I'm not getting one because I'm not doing a toss. I didn't see a reason for the extra expense.

We're not doing a toss and I know FW wouldn't care if I had one on, just like I don't care if she had one on. Honestly, there's way more important things, and really don't think a piece of lace on her leg is sexy.
