My sister thinks because I'm not doing a garter toss I don't need a garter *spoiled foot stomp.* I guess I could save the money and not get one, what do you all think? I thought it would a fun prop for after the wedding, that's just me...

I'm in the same boat! It dawned on me a couple days ago that I "technically" wouldn't have to wear one, seeing as there won't be a toss. Thinking of wearing one to surprise my FH after the wedding. So glad I'm not the only bride not doing a garter toss!!

If you want one then get one. We are not having a garter toss but I am still purchasing one. (Its more for looks for FH for the night of!)

FH and I just talked about this the other night. We decided not to do the toss, and without the toss (in our opinion) the garter is pointless. I was going to get one anyway for a picture I wanted to do but FH isn't down for the picture either. So I guess no garter for me.

They're pointless. Why does your sister need to be involved with this decision? If you want one, get one. It's simple.

I'm not doing a toss and am not wearing a garter as I also 1. Didn't see the point, 2. Didn't want to wear one as I think it would be uncomfortable, 3. Didn't want to spend the mental effort choosing one, and 4. I don't think they are as sexy as any other type of lingerie I might choose to wear anyways. That was my thinking, but if you want one, got for it!
