No Rehearsal?

Leslie, on June 21, 2022 at 7:17 PM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 0 6
Have any of y’all had no rehearsal with wedding party and have had it all go smoothly? I don’t think it’s going to be possible to have one as it’s a destination wedding for half of the guests.

Is there anyway you can get everyone together a couple nights before & practice with them? Even if it’s something quick.

Try to practice quickly the night before if you can? You can get by with no rehearsal if everyone has experience from being in past weddings and a militant coordinator

We didn’t have a rehearsal for our wedding. The venue and staff helped with that on the day of the wedding. Our bridal party had to get there early and explained how they were going to walk down aisle. They did a great job in doing so and everything went smoothly

You could consider doing a rehearsal with everybody you have available, this would allow those that can attend to pass on the info to those that can't attend and potentially lead others (ie. have the bridesmaids who did the rehearsal lead those that couldnt make it etc).

I've been to a wedding as a bridesmaid that did this and it was quite effective. I was able to communicate to the other bridesmaids (and lead them down the aisle) and the attending best man and groomsmen communicated to their group.

We skipped a rehearsal and it was fine. Besides walking down the aisle there really wasn’t anything special anyone had to do. We just told everyone what order to walk in and all was fine. We skipped for similar reasons to you but I’m glad we did, it would’ve been a waste of time for us.

We’re doing a destination wedding and I’m planning on doing a rehearsal the night before just so everyone isn’t a hot mess. We won’t be doing it at the actual location, but I think getting together before hand will help everyone out
